Started career as Assistant Professor at Nagoya University in Japan in 2008. Moved to Phnom Penh in 2014 as Director and Designated Associate Professor of Nagoya University, Cambodia Satellite Campus. Specialized in development economics and international economics. Recent research interest includes trade negotiations, FTA, trade facilitation with focus on Cambodia.
